-Kaedyn's primary work space is an intelligence lab on Starbase 118 is in the Black Tower.  He also has an office in his quarters, where he is able to work into the small hours or while caring for his young son, and a small office on Deck 9 of the USS Victory.  Given the security concerns, his workspaces outside of the Black Tower are locked and require voice authorisation to access them; access to the intelligence lab in the Black Tower is in line with standard security for that area.

Nestled in a quiet corner of the deck, it appears to be a standard science lab but requires a voice print to access the lab.  Kaedyn also has a small office attached to the intel lab, which also has secured access.  From these locations, he is able to access all of the intelligence sources required to do his job including the SGI BLACKNET system.
