Appearance
A spindly wisp of a man, T'Lingot is deceptively strong and steady. His gold eyes peer out from a narrow, long blue face, with dark patches in a pattern along the top of his skull and the back of his neck. He keeps his claws fairly dull by comparison to others of his species, so as to appear nonthreatening. Their use as blunt instruments is, to his mind, more than sufficient in addition to the other tools of combat and self-defense that Starfleet provides.

Personal History
Like many Saurian children, T'Lingot was born to a pair of distillers, contributing to the nearly inexhaustible supply of Saurian Brandy. He had an idyllic childhood, marked by frequent extended family get-togethers. It was these get-togethers that set him on his path to Starfleet. On rare occasion, Uncle Kadriz, a senior officer on the USS Peerless, would attend, and the events were all the more exciting when he did. Tales of heroism and intrigue marked the get togethers, and T'Lingot, more than any of the small cousins, was enraptured. He marveled at the things Uncle Kadriz had seen, and envied his other family. A crew of hundreds aboard a Nebula-class starship seemed like a paradise. Endless new faces to meet, stories to share, lives to live. He didn't know what he'd be good at, but he knew whatever it was, he would be good at it in Starfleet.
As much as Cadet Jaunn would enjoy being assigned to the Peerless, however, his time at the Academy has cultivated in him something of a competitive streak, and he is eager to build a career and network even more impressive than his uncle's. Accordingly, it simply wouldn't do to be swimming in the same pool.
