All Starfleet shuttlecrafts from the 23rd century and onward had warp nacelles indicating warp capability.
Starfleet designates shuttlecraft into two classes:
* '''[[Class 1 Shuttlecraft]]:''' Also known as '''shuttlepods'''., these smaller shuttlecraft lack warp capability.
* '''[[Class 2 Shuttlecraft]]:''' Larger shuttles capable of warp travel and extended mission duration.
