Janilr

The winged creatures known as janilr were reptavians indigenous to Domel. The peculiar Domel orbit around Idon allowed them to migrate to the planet. An adult janilr's largest teeth were the length of a human arm, and the creatures had a stature similar to that of a mythical Earth dragon when fully grown.

In early stages of Idon history, janilrs were feared predators that spread terror, attacking the primitive Idonian villages and forcing the development of the fortified city of Iania as the only safe place to live on the planet. The creatures were later trained as mounts by the Idonian outcasts. The larvae can be born at about 3 meters tall.
