Varaan's Quarters

Varaan normally keeps his quarters fairly spartan, but with several strategically placed candles used during meditation. Several knick-knacks (momentoes) from his life randomly sit on bookshelves.

Paladin

Each person aboard an Prometheus class starship is assigned approximately 90 square meters of personal living quarters space. These accommodations typically include a bedroom, living/work area, and a small bathroom. Other amenities available include food synthesizer terminals (replicators), sonic showers, standard showers, null-grav sleeping chambers, and personal holographic viewers.
In 2378, upon being assigned to the Paladin, he was assigned quarters on Deck 5, room 1250. They were standard officer's quarters, with a living/working area separate from the sleeping area, and the head.

Atlantis

Each person aboard an Intrepid class starship is assigned approximately 85 square meters of personal living quarters space. These accommodations typically include a bedroom, living/work area, and a small bathroom. Other amenities available include food synthesizer terminals (replicators), sonic showers, standard showers, null-grav sleeping chambers, and personal holographic viewers.

During Varaan's first tour on the USS Atlantis (2381-2382), he was the commanding officer, and so had the captain's quarters (Deck 3, room 0100). In 2392, upon being reassigned to the Atlantis, he was assigned quarters on Deck 3, room 0310 (mid-ship, port side). They were standard officer's quarters, with a living/working area separate from the sleeping area, and the head.

Steadfast-A

In 2383, upon being reassigned to the Steadfast-A, he was assigned quarters on Deck 8, room 0912. They were standard officer's quarters, with a living/working area separate from the sleeping area, and the head.

Apollo-A

When he was assigned to the USS Apollo-A in 2392, this was the first chance that Varaan had to have his family accompany him. Family accommodations aboard an Odyssey class Cruiser are designated to Deck 12 for officers, or Deck 38 for civilians, and have a variable size depending on the number of family members living there. These accommodations typically include multiple bedrooms, living/work area, and a bathroom. Other amenities available include food synthesizer terminals (replicators), sonic showers, standard showers, null-grav sleeping chambers, and personal holographic viewers.

Varaan's family quarters were Deck 12, room 0425, and consisted of the living/dining/workspace, a bedroom for himself and his wife T'lani, a bedroom for their daughter T'iana, and a bathroom.

Triumphant

When Varaan was assigned as Chief Engineering Officer of the Defiant class USS Triumphant, he was assigned quarters on Deck 1. Being a smaller vessel, the available space for crew quarters is at a premium, and the compartments are very spartan. This suited Varaan just fine.

Darwin-A

When Varaan was originally transferred to the USS Darwin-A in 2392, he was assigned quarters on Deck 7, room 0822. They were standard officer's quarters, with a living/working area separate from the sleeping area, and the head. The quarters were much more spacious that he had previously enjoyed on the USS Triumphant (that ship being a Defiant class).

Once the crew was rescued from Turisan II by the USS Endeavor in 2393, Varaan's family transferred aboard the Darwin as well. Varaan's family quarters were Deck 7, room 1137, and consisted of the living/dining/workspace, a bedroom for himself and his wife T'lani, a bedroom for their daughter T'iana, and a bathroom, similar to what they had on the USS Apollo-A.
