Scout troopers wear specially modified lightweight armor with greater flexibility than standard Etrooper armor, and often use light antigrav vehicles, such as the G-65 hoverbike, in the course of their duties, earning them the nickname "hover scouts". Although not wearing the best camouflage for a forest/jungle environment, the Stroopers make up for it with speed and flexibility on a hoverbike.
Stroopers are very different than a normal trooper. They have a special visor which helps them see better in their environment, as well as concentrating their attention directly ahead so they can steer better. However, some people do seem to have trouble with this, as at least one Strooper has been heard talking about how the helmet impaired his vision.
Strooper armor was designed for maximum movement and flexibility during combat. Stroopers wear white boots with a tan bottom, and one boot is fitted with a pistol holster. They wear a black body suit and knee pads for comfort when kneeling. Their waist armor includes pouches where they hold their weapons and tools. They have a groin flap for comfort when riding a hoverbike, and their chest armor is connected to their back armor, which houses a computer that powers up the suit.
Their helmets can zoom in, use night vision, turn in to polarized snow googles, and track enemies. They have limited arm armor and wear black gauntlets.
