Personal History
Living in a time when few Kobliads die of deuridium deficiency, unexpectedly losing a husband was almost too much for young mother to bear. Over time, grief transformed into a hardened exterior. Bethii raised her children to adulthood, unable to express more than a detached sense of responsibility. Beneath the surface, her heart broke as her children grew disinterested. They now communicate very little. Without much left to live for, Bethii joined Starfleet at the age of forty, seeking a position as a tactical or security officer. Should you find yourself pitted against her in a darkened corridor, you would be wise not to let her age deceive you.
