Hi!

I'm J'myle. I write the character of James Canis.

I'm in my 20's, a sailor in the U.S. Navy, stationed on USS Patriot a minesweeper based out of Sasebo, Japan.

Life on a real Navy ship is all about "professionalism," which is this thing where you're not allowed to yell at people, or treat them badly, or insult them (unless it's really, really funny). Plus I'm a pretty easy-going guy in the RL, and just don't have much drama in my life.

All that is really, really boring, so I come here to write about people who do have drama in their lives, and lots of emotional baggage, and maybe actual mental illness--yet through some unforgivable mistake in the Starfleet bureaucracy, are officers on a starship exploring the unknown. Whoops!
