Located on a busy corner of the San Francisco district of Starbase 118's promenade, The Advocate is a four-storey entertainment venue that was primarily designed to cater for gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, androgynous and transgendered individuals. The Advocate was originally opened by an Argelian man named Glenn Runym who had originally come aboard the station as part of a reconstruction crew and spotted a gap in the market. It has since become one of the leading social venues on the station known for the good food, friendly atmosphere and large dancefloor.
Severely damaged during the Scarlet Brotherhood attacks on the station, the Advocate has recently re-opened after a major refit and under new management.
Layout First Floor - Stonewall Cafe serves snacks and coffee 24 hours a day.
Second Floor - The Advocate Restaurant on the second floor is a formal restaurant with an award winning chef who offers a diverse range of fusion dishes.
Third Floor - The Lambda Lounge, a chilled out bar
Top Floor - Club A boasts the largest dance floor on the station and is famed for it's themed club nights such as the monthly Pon'Farr night.
Proprietors The Advocate was taken over by former Starfleet Officer Aaron Harrison and his Orion husband Thalaar, who have recently moved to the Starbase.
