The USS Tycho Brahe is a Nova class Starfleet vessel previously commanded by Tara Mirza. Mirza was later given command of the recovered USS Mercury in 2391.

The starship is named for Tycho Brahe (1546-1601), a Danish nobleman and astronomer whose work in developing astronomical instruments and in measuring and fixing the positions of stars paved the way for future discoveries.
