The USS Saratoga was a Constitution class starship believed long lost sometime in the 23rd century. It was not until 2390 that the USS Mercury picked up her distress call in the JB-437 system in the Menthar Corridor. The crew of the Mercury were able to recover engineer Jenna D'Soni, the sole survivor of the Saratoga awakened from stasis, before the ship was destroyed within the gas giant.
