The USS Concordia is a Veritas class starship active as of 2395. Named after the Roman goddess of harmony, Concordia was assigned to Task Force 105, Starfleet's response to increasing tensions along the Tholian border.
In 2398, Concordia and another of her sister ships were reassigned to the Shoals to replace the USS Veritas, which had finished its tour of duty and returned to drydock for refit. Newly-promoted Captain Zhou Tai-Sheng was given command of Concordia as it began its operations in the Shoals, and her first mission was to head to Donova IV and deal with the Cobalt Clan. Before she headed off to Donova, Zhou and Concordia visited Shadow's Edge, where Zhou checked in on his friend and former Veritas shipmate Sky Blake, now a vice chief marshal for the Colonial Coalition Marshals Service.
