"Primum non nocere." (First, do no harm)

The Braveheart is a medical ship, which can be called upon for any major medical crisis, or evacuation. Under the command of Commander Jan T'Yai (NPC) the Braveheart normally performs medical studies and/or research in the vicinity of StarBase 118 and the whole sector.

It is unusual for the Braveheart to be more than a few days away from the base at a given time, however occassionally the vessel will travel into neighbouring sectors when it is required for a given research project.

The Olympic-class in general are designed as mercy or science vessels, and as such are equipped only with defensive tactical systems. If the Braveheart is required to attend a crisis some distance away from StarBase 118, it is standard for an escort vessel to be sent too. Olympic.jpg
