The USS Benjamin Franklin is an Oberth class science vessel with a crew complement of 80 and presently assigned to scientific duty in the Trinity Sector.
Recent History
In May 2384, when the USS Benjamin Franklin was stationed in the Ithassa Region, the vessel went missing investigating reports of an anomaly in Bull's Run. It was later confirmed to be a wormhole. Her emergency buoy was found by the FTU vessel Ambuscader and the USS Independence-A was dispatched to investigate the disappearance. The ship was later recovered and brought back to the Trinity Sector for repairs and for re-assignment.
