Kaitlyn was one of the first officers Trellis met upon graduation from the Academy and posting to StarBase 118 Ops. She led the away mission that was Trellis' first true action as an officer, where they captured terrorists. Her sometimes headstrong, confident approach pushes Trellis to action more than his natural tendency to contemplation and analysis. She will often act as a wingwoman during his (often failed) attempts at flirting, while he in turn acts as a sympathetic friend and ear for any personal issues. She reminds Trellis of his best friend from the academy, Haylie Johnson, in that she will push him to expand his limits and explain human intricacies and customs.

Trellis met the marine at the Academy. Despite his attempts at friendship, the Magna Roman spurned him. Trellis understands, but hopes now that they are both on SB118 they can put the past behind them and work together.

Stardate 238505.17: While hiking alone in the Vissian wilderness, falls from a cliff, breaking right arm in numerous places, causing severe nerve damage.

Stardate 238808.17: Joins StarFleet Academy. There he meets Haylie Johnson, a Human and his closest friend.

Stardate 239210.29: Promoted to Lieutenant JG; awarded Captain's Commendation for service in capturing terrorists.

Stardate 239212.21: Awarded the Innovation Ribbon for service to capturing a rogue StarFleet ship.

Stardate 239302.01: Promoted to Lieutenant and confirmed as Chief of Intelligence.

Stardate 239303.20: Awarded the Innovation Ribbon for service in solving a troubling Tribble crisis; Joint Meritorious Unit Award for acting in conjunction with the authorities on Tilanna V to capture a murderer.
