	Background & Personality

Toran was once a proud, confident Trill. He was always strong, both physically and mentally. When he graduated basic schooling, Toran didn't hesitate to enlist in the Starfleet Marine Corps. Despite the misgivings of the Symbiosis Commission, he was Joined with the symbiont Sevo shortly after Academy graduation. For the next several years, Toran dutifully fulfilled his oath as a Starfleet Marine, being posted to numerous starships, stations, and colonies. At the time, most work of the Marines were keeping order on the outskirts of Federation space or on board deep-space exploratory vessels. However, nothing could prepare Toran or the Marines for the nightmare of the Dominion War.

The war slowly chipped away at Toran's upbeat personality. Throughout the war, he was posted to the front lines, fighting in personal combat with the Dominion in countless locations. After the Dominion reinforcement fleet came through the wormhole, the Marines found themselves constantly pushed further and further into Federation space. Eventually, Toran found himself defending his home planet of Trill. Unfortunately, it was a lost cause from the start, as the number of ships and troops the Dominion sent to the planet was overwhelming. Toran eventually left on one of the last transports retreating to Qo'noS. The sight of his planet burning, encased by a swarm of Dominion ships was forever burned in his memory.

Once Qo'noS fell, the war was over. With the Federation gone, Toran found himself constantly on the run. Every day was a struggle to survive. He lived on different ships, eventually finding his way onto the U.S.S. Triumphant. Toran used his past hosts' experiences to help around the ship, but was first-and-foremost a fighter.

Lizara

The first host of Sevo, Lizara was a petite woman with purple hair. She was an exceptional concert pianist, and traveled all over Trill performing concerts, and sometimes playing with orchestras.

Camen

Sevo's second host was a male Trill named Camen. He was a highly-skilled chef who ran a five-star restaurant.

Vereesa

Sevo's third host was a chemist. She specialized in Material Chemistry, mostly developing new metamaterials and nanoparticles. She died in 2365 of old age, at which point Sevo was implanted in Toran.
