Ensign Tobias, an El-Aurian, is currently a Science officer aboard the USS Avandar.

Personality

Tobis loves to make the most of his leisure time. He likes to surround himself with lost of different types of people. He also is a nature lover, and has created a number of holodeck programs involving nature walks in a variety of locations.

Has a low tolerance for rude and disrespectful people.
Quarters
Tobis's quarters are currently on Deck 3. The quarters are normally shared with another crew member, however he lives alone for now. He displays numerous decorations and trinkets from his travels across the galaxy.

- Tobis tends to take a long time before deciding on a career or to advance his career. His long lifespan gives him the perception that there is plenty of time to make important life decisions.

2201-Born on board the science vessel L'Kin to Nellen (an El-Aurian Physicist) and Markin (an El-Aurian Stellar Cartographer).
2247-Becomes assistant Stellar Cartographer on board the L'Kin
2265-Learned about the destruction of the El-Aurian homeworld
2284-Leaves the L'Kin to explore new worlds. His brother Karim accompanies him.
2291-Travels to Earth. Tobis and L'Kin open up a restaurant in San Fransisco.
2293-Meets some of the El-Aurian refugees from the homeworld rescued by USS Enterprise-B on Earth.
2294-Marries an El-Aurian refugee, Larkin, on Earth.
2341-Tobis divorces Larkin and leaves Earth.
2347-Studies Social Psychology at the University of Betazed.
2349-Marries a Betazoid Psychologist, Tam Polid.
2354-Obtains Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the University of Betazed. Divorces Tam Poilid, and returns to Earth.
2362-Returns to Earth, and opens a tailor shop near Chicago.
2364-Marries a Human bartender, Chris Taylor
2383-Chris Taylor dies, and Tobis leaves Earth to work as a chef at Utopia Planitia Shipyards.
2385-Enrolls in Starfleet Academy with a concentration in Science. His specializations include Stellar Cartography, Evolution, and Xenology.
2389-Assinged to the training vessel, USS Centris, as Science Officer.
