The Hammers Bowling Alley was founded upon creation of the USS Thor upon the request of Darren Hammer, a businessman looking to franchise his vintage bowling alleys onto a star ship. The bowling alley in question is meant to resemble an early 20th century Earth bowling alley. The facilities are equipped with eight lanes, a speakeasy style bar in the back, and numerous posters and furniture similar to those of the era.
