History

Sally enjoys a close relationship with her parents and a somewhat distant one with her sister. Shirley felt Sally was being foolish joining Starfleet. Subsequently, Shirley refused to attend Sally's graduation ceremony from Starfleet Academy. Their parents were hurt by this but supported the decision.
