Background
Born on Vulcan, to an astrophysicist and an astronomer, Stelek fully embraced her Vulcan heritage, taking the career path that was selected for her by her teachers and family: Starfleet and Engineering. Leaving home for Starfleet Academy she quickly began a specialty in Operations, where she excelled both at the academy and after graduation.
Stelek spent her childhood, when possible, camping in the desert and participating in the many vehicle races that took place outside the city.
One of six children, Stelek's practice of meditating calm was often interrupted, something her parents encouraged all of their children to view as a challenge to their logic.
