Galash comes from a traditional family of Tellarites, despite having had a varied upbringing. Like all Tellarites, Galash is obstinate and argumentative, although less so than average. This stems from his father's extensive work in diplomacy, which allowed Galash to experience more tempered debates through his father's work. Although it is uncommon for Tellarites to seek a career in Starfleet, Galash's extensive travelling due to his father's ambassadorial work ignited a sense of adventure within him. As well, the family prestige has pressured Galash to strive for more than just an average Tellar existence. Throughout the Academy, Galash has been ostracized for his racial proclivity to argue and insult, which is heightened when he finds himself nervous or out of sorts. | |||
