; [[Nesre Salo]]: Jack fisrt met Nesre Salo aboard the USS Thor and along with V'Len Kel and Commodore Aaron Kells spent several days on Bajor with Nesre during shore leave. Jack enjoyed his time with Nesre and when their second shore leave came around she was one of the first people he asked to go to Bora Bora, Earth with him. The shore leave proved to be fun and even led to the rescue of a mother dog on the islands peak of Otemanu. Nesre shares a similar love for animals as Jack and something that he believes has brought them closer as friends. A few months later Nesre surprised Jack aboard ship with Lilou, one of the Tervuren puppies they had rescued from atop Bora Bora. During exploration of the "Starship Graveyard" near Amity sation, Kel was able to establish contact with a cosmozoan entity using the Thor's holodeck interface. The entity briefly swallowed the the USS Thor but regurgitated it later in the hopes of gaining freedom from the cage is was locked in.
