A recent addition to the [[USS Atlantis]] Doctor Journs is the first Al-Leyan that Toryn has served in Starfleet with and is only the second to serve on board the ''Atlantis'' since her relaunch in 2394. Ishka is also one of the few rare Al-Leyan's who possesses psionic abilities. In a short time Toryn and Ishka have grown close and after having endured several shared experiences on the ship, he has fallen in love with her. She is the complete and sole love of his life and a source of comfort and stability as he deals with the after effects of his lengthy torture and captivity at the hands of the Consortium. | |||
