Her position aboard the Veritas and typically relies upon her own lack of experience to give role as a Starfleet Ranger provide her with a different perspective when in conflictspurpose she didn't have prior to re-joining Starfleet. Blake will ask questions Because of this, she takes threats to either Veritas and press for more information when she feels she does not have all its crew (or the answers she requires, though admittedly Shoals region) incredibly seriously and becomes frustrated if others refuse when her fellows don't show the same level of committment to provide themthe rules and regulations of the ares—such as Kelrod discharging a phaser to stop an escalating physical conflict in a Ketar V establishment, which ultimately lands he, Wil Ukinix, and their captain Roshanara Rahman in Colonial Coalition Marshals holding cells.
Blake takes sometimes struggles to "switch off" from her job and learned mannerisms within the Shoals seriouslyduties, thoroughly believing in the rules of engagement set making it hard for the areaothers to connect with her on a personal level. If irritatedSome may find it easier to only engage with Blake on duty, she becomes cold and bluntbut with persistence, but if Blake it is known for one thingpossible to break through her all-work-no-play psyche, it’s that she hardly ever raises her voice to others. Because she spends a significant amount revealing an easy-going woman who cares deeply about the members of time as a long Starfleet Ranger, she becomes incredibly frustrated when her crew breaks what she believes to be simple rules established for operation in the Shoals (such as Kelrod discharging a phaser to stop an escalating physical conflict in a Ketar V establishment. She surrounds herself deliberately with colour, which ultimately lands he, Wil Ukinixhaving subscribed rather heavily into Ornaran colour psychology, and their captain Roshanara Rahman in Colonial Coalition Marshals holding cells)is considerably bright and charismatic when faced with relaxed social settings that don’t involve her Starfleet uniform.
Blake is strict upon herself and tries her best to abide by the social norms, rules, and laws of other cultures or colonies, even when doing so may directly contradict her duty as a Starfleet officer. This has been known to sometimes cause friction with her Starfleet crew, as she will may place the requirements of a Coalition colony above that of her ship, and become perplexed when others don't choose to do the same.
Though Blake did attend Starfleet Academy, she recalls incredibly little of it due to an ongoing case of retrograde amnesia. She surrounds sees herself deliberately as the least experienced of the officers aboard Veritas and continues to study during her off hours to stay up to date with colour, having subscribed rather heavily into Ornaran colour psychologyStarfleet operations. She relies often on her crewmates counsel for most matters, but is a fast learner and is considerably bright typically relies upon her own lack of experience to give her a different perspective when in conflicts. Blake will ask questions and charismatic press for more information when faced with relaxed social settings that don’t involve she feels she does not have all the answers she requires, though admittedly becomes frustrated if others refuse to provide them. If irritated, she becomes cold and blunt. However, she will not raise her Starfleet uniformvoice when speaking to others. On duty, however, Blake is occasionally referred to the ‘doom and gloom’ character by her fellow crew and has been heard verbalizing worst-case scenarios sometimes to a point of fault, though most of her potential suggestions or outcomes leave openings for others to provide significantly better counter-proposals.
Ever since leaving Brekka in 2391, Blake considers herself a nomad. Though having technically served aboard the same vessel for four years, she struggles to set down roots, constantly finding another purpose off-ship. As such, her quarters are often sparse, and Blake is seemingly ready to take off on her next mission at a moment's notice. Despite her concern that her never-ending wandering across the galaxy to find her preverbial place may affect her children, she has yet to provide herself stability, or attach herself to one place. Curiously, however, Blake does form attachments with her fellow Starfleet officers, and seems to consistently cling to the security they (as individual people) provide. Such forms the base of her relationship with Zhou Tai-Sheng.

Though she is protective of her children and their privacy, she frequently entrusts others to watch over them when she is not available -- such available—which is often the case with for her son Ayden, who has had countless guardians over the last two years alone. If faced with information about her life prior to her amnesia, Blake will recoil and immediately attempt to retract herself from the situation. She fears her "past life" and does not wish to be someone she is not. She encourages Tristam Core to delete a holographic version of herself, adament that a second Sky Blake (from years ago) is of no benefit to anyone, and considers the hologram as nothing more than a dangerous ghost.
