Born in Norway in 2360, Didrik Stennes is the fourth of six children. Showing interests in writing and the outdoors as a child, he developed a desire to join Starfleet as a teenager, during the Dominion War. Upon completing secondary school in 2378, Stennes unsuccessfully applied to Starfleet Academy and enrolled at the University of Bergen instead. Upon completing undergraduate study in the field of military history in 2382, he reapplied to Starfleet Academy, and was this time successful. | |||
