Kellan was born on Earth in to William and Rebecca Glass. Shortly after Kellan's birth his father was promoted to Commander and made first officer on the USS Raven. The entire family moved to live on the ship and it was there that Kellan spent his childhood. Kellan found living on the Galaxy class ship an adventure and enrolled into the onboard youth programme called the "Revans" he was immediately recognised for his leadership command traits and made it to the rank of Red unit's Alpha.
