<h3>Academy Days</h3>

During the academy Penelope Majored in Nursing with two minors; one in xenolinguistics and one in history. She learned Federation standard, and grew up in a bilingual house hold with both English and Bajoran. Penelope also knows a good deal about other aspects of alien cultures that relate to language or history. Despite her trouble speaking she has an amazing ability to understand languages. Later she attended medical school for a Doctor of Medicine and to specialize in hydrotherapy nursing. Some classes were repeated but the higher grade was kept. For her history minor, she only received it as all her elective cores were those taught by the history department. Her final history cores was an Honors Thesis Research on the historical use of herbal medicine and it's uses in modern society.
