The brothers share a puzzling relationship. Zak is always overjoyed to see Randal. However, regardless of the circumstances, Randal is consistently embarrassed to with Zak. Randal never speaks of his brother, and has never discussed him outside of the strictest confidence. A terrible incident during their childhood is suspected by many people to be the cause of their problems, but neither Shayne will confirm it, something Randal is inexplicably grateful for.
