A warp-capable non-humanoid species whose homeworld is currently blockaded by the [[Community]]. Having only been warp-capable for perhaps twenty or thirty years, they have explored little beyond the [[Zeta Equulei system]]. There are reports that they may also possess dangerous, subspace weaponry.
