Thanks to Jiana’s influence, Kaitlyn has taken a strong interest in piloting. She has a number of different holodeck simulations ranging from flying biplanes in Earth’s first World War to helming the latest craft from as many races as she could find sims for. She’ll fly for enjoyment, practice, or to test out any insane idea that comes to her before trying it out on a real ship. | |||
As with most of her family, Kaitlyn has some degree of musical ability. Her singing voice tends to settle around a high alto, and while in the Academy she acquired a full-size keyboard she keeps to this day. | |||
During her time at Starfleet Academy, Kaitlyn found herself developing an interest in one of her mother’s hobbies; rock climbing. Kaitlyn constructed a pair of climbing claws to wear on her forearms, along with a powerful piton firing gun for emergencies. | |||
