History

Dr. Sidon feels oddly at home in the Federation, despite few Gideon officers presently serve. It was more of the medical piece, because of his world’s history with sterilization and want of a “germ-free” civilization, but that led to overpopulation and assorted other obstacles. His parents, tired of the tug and pull, relocated to a lunar colony when he was a small boy, then later Earth, but they held to their beliefs and culture. Sidon became interested in medicine because of his people’s history. He was a good student, excelling and eventually working on various starships prior to graduating and being assigned to the USS Tiger for his first official posting.

There is a bit of an arrogant air about him, though, that has rubs others the wrong way. He can be egocentric and pompous, a jerk sometimes, but he isn't so on purpose. He is just dry, and answers questions with unbridled sarcasm at times.

He has nicknames for his fellow officers though he usually refers to them as such in his thoughts only. A few:
