Personality & Appearance

Nicholas is a human male, with brown hair and dark brown almost black eyes. He is slightly shorter that an average male but not noticably so, he could be described as an average looking man. Nicholas' father was a flight instructor on earth and his mother an artist, they meet by chance when they both got stuck behind a level 2 force field at the International Pre-22th century gallery when the alarm was triggered by a troublesome child. They then started having launch together on a regular basis until they decided to make their relationship more serious. A year later they both moved to the quite town of Apollo Crescent on Mars were Nicholas was born two years later. Nicholas' mother went into labour on new years day but it took three days for her to give birth. This was the main reason why Nick has never had a sibling, his mother is quoted as saying, "never again".

Understandably Nicholas was quick to take to the arts as a young child and until his early teens he was predicted to be a great artist. But as a teenager he was easily bored in the quite town and he managed to talk his father into to giving him piloting lessons. As with art Nick excelled as a pilot and when he finished school he joined Starfleet. Nicholas graduated to academy at the age of 21 with a degree in helm and navigation. Nicholas' first assignment was as a shuttle pilot and acting helm officer on the newly commissioned USS Atlantis. After the mission Nicholas spent a week on shore leave with his head of department Michael Soul where the two spent the week going to clubs and bars in New Pike city.

Idiosyncrasies

Nicholas is a great pilot but he is very brash and too cocky for some of his commanding officers, only time will tell how he develops as an officer in Starfleet.
