Service Ribbons are in character (IC) decorations presented to officers for acts of heroism and participation in a vessel's missions or campaign. Ribbons can be received at any time, but are generally presented alongside crew promotions. It is not uncommon for all members of a crew to receive campaign ribbons. Service ribbons should only be displayed on the specific character that received the service ribbon.
