Seff was born on the 17th March 2352 in the heart of the Zaldan Colony on Ricktor Prime. She wouldn't really say there was anything particularly unusual about her childhood, however she would cite that she was particularly good at Parrises Squares. Both her parents worked as administrators managing incoming goods - a job she would later describe as the dullest possible career, although it did have a profound impact on her life. She quickly became interested in not just the supply ships themselves (or as she affectionately referred to them as 'flying heaps of junk') but also the fascinating verity of cultures interstellar travel exposed one to. When added to a healthy interest in heavy armament, she quickly decided that Starfleet was the life for her.

Seff enrolled in Starfleet Academy 2369, choosing to Major in Tactical with a Minor in Command ('Someone has to tell people what to do, may as well be me.') which she did rather well in, graduating in 2373 with a strong 'A'. She was quickly assigned to the newly launched USS Tell as a Tactical Officer, which she would call her home for the next two decades of her life baring a short period of mourning after the dominion war and the destruction of the colony on Ricktor Prime.

By 2392 she had made full Lt. Commander and acted as the Tell's Strategic Operation Officer a position she enjoyed even if she found it a little... Mind-crushingly boring. The Tell is primarily a transport ship which tended to safe areas and there was only so many times she could declare a asteroid 'a significant and immediate threat' before she got bored with that. As a result, she made the decision to move out of her norm and accepted a placement on the USS Constitution-B, one of the Fleets more front-line vessels.

Kax Seff first met Sassi in 2385 when she transferred onto the USS Tell. While at first Seff found the Marine overly formal and a little bit annoying as a result, she quickly came to appreciate how blunt and direct she was. Over the years she knew her, Sassi had probably got Seff into more trouble than any other person in her life, but despite (or perhaps because of this) they are firm friends. Uniquely for a friend of Seff's Sassi has no nickname this is because 'Sassi's parents already did the job' for her. On Stardate 239206.20, Seff became romantically attached to Sassi after she finally drew up the guts to admit that she had feelings for the younger officer for at least half a decade. Kax, Sassi.png

Elizabeth Brooke Councillor aboard the USS Tell. While initially the two had a, at best, hostile relationship due to Elizabeth's insistence that Seff required weekly counselling sessions and Seff's insistence that she did not. Over time Seff grew to trust Elizabeth and open up to her - even going so far as to convert their weekly sessions to a weekly night out once they were determined to no longer be necessary. S'laa As the Security Officer on the USS Tell, Seff often had to work with Gorn. Over time the became friends, a fact Seff greatly enjoyed. It was always useful to have a friend who could consume your enemies. Seff is still bouncing around names for S'laa. Initially, Seff referred to her as the 'Gecko' but after S'laa was injured in 2587 decided that there were better names out there. After discarding 'Mechazilla' (S'laa liked it too much), she decided to try out 'Coleslaw' (Often shortened down just 'Cole') owing to her names similarity to Slaw. Noimage.jpg

  • Late 2375: Treaty of Bajor is signed, Dominion War ends.
  • 237507.01: Following conclusion of Dominion War, Seff takes bereavement leave at the earliest possible opportunity. Her exact whereabouts are unknown during this time.
  • 237609.07: Seff returns to the USS Tell as a Tactical Officer.
