Sarah Mason may appear timid, but she is as feisty as they come. She quickly rose through the ranks as Starfleet Command saw much potential in her. She was even hand picked to be Capt. Clarkson's First Officer on the USS Spartan. Unfortunately, Capt. Clarkson violated direct orders and went rogue in a revenge mission against the Klingons that had attacked the ship his daughter had served on. Unaware that her Captain had gone rogue, Sarah had been left under investigation for failure to stop him. The trauma led to Sarah considering retiring and she took a personal leave from Starfleet. After a year at home, however, she finally got the gumption to return to Starfleet. Although she intended to take it slow, it did not take long for her to start finding her confidence again. Although she still doubts herself after everything that happen, she has an eagerness that makes her able to take on the adventure.
