Rowls

Rowls was a miner on the planet Desperot. He became caught up in the hedonic cult that sprung up around the presence of the alien entity and subsequently lost his marriage and family as a result.
Soon he found himself transitioning between two realities - one in which Desperot was still a thriving mining colony and another in which the colony lies abandoned. The transitions took on average twenty-four hours to cycle and Rowls soon became locked into an endless cycle of self medication as he tried to remain attached to the hedonism of Desperot while being exposed to the decaying version. In the latter version he found himself experiencing intense hallucinations surrounding his own guilt his alienation from his wife and children, while in the former he self medicated with prostitution and drugs.
