	Background

Rowena Morgan was born in Portobello, Edinburgh, and was primarily raised on Earth. She attended schooling at a grammar school from a young age. Both of Rowena's parents were artists of sorts, dabbling primarily as painters and sculptors, but often always branching out to newer mediums as they presented themselves. Rowena lived a very relaxed life, there was always a sense that no matter what kind of path she decided upon, her parents would more or less support her goals. Naturally, being the child of two artists, Rowena picked up a natural interest in the subject, showing particular interest in the mediums of watercolour and oil paintings. But Rowena, like her parents a penchant for exploring other mediums, with Rowena having a cursory interest in graphite and all different kinds of things like gouache and pastels.

Rowena herself was a bit of a wild child, it had taken her years after bouncing from degree to degree to truly settle on a career path. But even then, she didn't just pick one. Rowena ranged all the way from interests to philosophy, all the way to art history and curation. Some of these degrees today lay unfinished, but, Rowena seldom had regrets when it came to the changing of her career path. Naturally, she settled into Starfleet and worked her way up as a Science Officer. With her own unique set of skills in philosophy and physics, she found a lovely niche working on Starbases, and recently coming aboard the USS Excalibur-A
