Background
Richards was born on Earth, which when you come down to it, is like being born a prince, Earth is a paradise where you want for nothing and you are given the best of everything.
Richards had a great childhood and great education, his parents both worked for the Weather control service as engineers. However Richards alwasys wanted to go out to explore the stars and with an almost genetic background in engineering he knew that starfleet would be his best option.
During his initial starfleet training Richards took Engineering and Science with a focus on Xeno Engineering.
Richards also has a keen intrest in martial arts, assisted by his large size.
