Backstory/Timeline

Rev'ya, Sometimes referred to as Revvy, is a half-betazoid born on earth. She had a quite standard childhood, and didn't stand out all that much athletic or otherwise. The most notable part of her childhood was the beginning of her struggle with her mother's emotional detachment. Her Mother suffered from a rare mental disability that left her completely unable to empathize with the emotions of others, and a constant sense of depression do to the feelings of isolation. Her father, when they married, went some ways toward fixing this, but it did not last. Her mother took her life the year before Rev'ya would have enrolled in Starfleet Academy, interrupting her plans and shaking her reality. She spent almost a full year in therapy do to the suddenness of this lost, and her mother's symptoms consistently appearing in her own life. After about a year she managed to regain a tighter grip on herself and enrolled in Starfleet Academy, studying Counselling with a minior in the sciencies.
