A light dusting of ebony spots dance over her cheeks and forehead, then turn to full out rosettes over her neck and body. Black outlines her eyes and trails down the side of her nose, making her features stand out. Large, sensitive ears are tipped in black, and a long, slender tail boasts several rows of stripes before also ending in that shadowy hue. Lithe and quick, she moves with an easy grace and generally keeps a pleasant expression. Personality Confidence and self assurance are emotions that she tends to convey. Parvana is unusual for her species, but also attractive and she knows it. Like all Caitians, she likes things orderly and neat and clean, including herself, and takes pains to present herself with an impeccable appearance. An early appreciation for patterns and creativity, she found herself drawn inexplicably to the natural world and what made it tick. Her curiosity was insatiable, and she always felt the need to go and find out. A particular interest in how things worked and enjoyed working with her hands manifested itself as she aged as well as the fascination for science focused specifically on chemistry, the makeup of the universe, the fundamental principles on how the physical world behaved, and why things worked the way they did. History Early Life and Schooling Born on Cait, Parvana and her parents resided near a sizeable river deep in one of the densest forests of her planet. Her parents were quite advanced in age when she was conceived, having attempted to have children naturally for a number of years without success. Although they could have taken measures to change they simply let it be, thinking if it was to happen,then it would happen. Thus, they were well into their ‘middle aged’ years when he mother found herself pregnant - and even more surprising, with only one cub. When she was born, Parvana gave her parents and their doctors somewhat of a shock. Unlike her parents who were both a light tawny hue, she came out much paler, a colour not usual to her kind. While not white, the silver was inexplicably odd, and even more so was the colour of her eyes - a distinctly brilliant blue. After much testing, it was declared that her colouring was due to a rare and unlikely genetic mutation, but did not affect her health, so she was released to go home with her parents. Growing up, Parvana was the delight of he parents and they doted upon her. When she grew to be of school age, however, she found herself thrust into a miniature society that looked upon her as strange. Save for a few who had been friends before they were old enough to notice differences, other children tended to ignore her, avoid her, or, in a few cases, be outright rude. She was different, and they let her know it. As she grew older, however, that seemed to change. During her teen years, those who had avoided her started noticing her, and in a more positive light. She was unusual, pleasantly so. Exotic. Attractive. Quite a reversal from her earlier experiences, Parvana basked in the attention she received. As she progressed in her schooling, however, she began to take a more serious look at what she wished to do with her life. With her interest in Science being cultivated by her parents and her teachers, she was encouraged to apply to Starfleet Academy. She did so, was accepted, and thus embarked on the first step of her career. Graduating with honours, Parvana found herself placed on the USS Payne, a small science vessel. There, she spent two years and was promoted to Lieutenant shortly before Starfleet transferred her to Starbase 118 Ops.
