Mandatory Counselling I See Trees of Phlebotinum Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall: Universe-travelling living crystal Ensign Vala Morton was part of the team assigned to study a mysterious crystal linked to the ship’s dimensional displacement. She helped develop safe methods to scan and simulate the crystal, and discovered it carried biological traces of the missing crew. Her observations led to the theory that the crystal wasn’t just a tool, but possibly a fragment of a living, interdimensional lifeform. Her work was key in helping the crew understand the crystal’s function and find a way home. Quantum Echoes and Neural Signatures It takes two Vala Morton and Bernadette Chen catch up for the first time after the two of them graduated from the Academy and were assigned to their first posts. Ensigns Morton & Chen: Esteemed Colleagues Captain Proton to the Rescue! Vala Morton heads to the holodeck to test out and further develop a holosimulation she has been working on to bring a piece of home to the Butler.
