Biographical Overview | |||
Noah grew up on Pawley’s Island in a fishermen’s family. His love and aptitude for working on a boat’s engine were noticed and encouraged by his father and mother. Noah also spent a lot of his time growing up with his nose in books, exploring history through the written word. He also has a natural ability to sing, a trait that he is shy to share with others. | |||
Noah is a little rough around the edges and has a bad habit of speaking before he thinks. He has been known to be honest to a fault, not sugar-coating things even if it hurts someone’s feelings. He is very intelligent and does some of his best engineering work while under pressure. He doesn’t make a lot of friends, but with those who he does, he is very loyal. | |||
He joined Starfleet partly as a challenge to one of his teachers, who told him that he spent too much time fiddling around with engines and not enough time in his studies and that he would not amount to anything. His love for exploration was another reason he wanted to join Starfleet, and it would allow him to work on the biggest and best engines ever made. | |||
