History
Nibez was born on the planet named Janitza on the galactic north side of the Typhon Expanse. He was abandoned as a small child during a famine crisis on his homeworld. He was adopted by a woman named Frel who became a mother figure and mentor. He worked on Frel's lightship, the Kiessa, starting as a cleaning and working his way up to her trusted Helmsman. Nibez has an uncanny intuition when it comes to piloting a ship through the dangers of the Typhon Expanse seeming having a sixth sense when it comes to special anomalies.
During the 2394 shakedown cruise of the USS Thunder, the crew ended up deep in the expanse where they met the Frel and her ship. After a mutually beneficial trade Nibez was permitted to head back to the Embassy on Duronis II with the Thunder crew to learn and experience new cultures and adventures. This includes Bajora (Bajor) of which his people are believed to be descended from.
Presently, Nibez has been permitted to serve aboard the USS Thunder-A as an Acting Ensign at the ship's Helm.
