Background
In 2373, Roslyn was found adrift in the wreckage of an Orion slave ship by a Federation science vessel and taken into custody. After it was determined that returning the child to the Orions held a high risk of having her ending up in slavery due to her natural empathic abilities (E4), incredibly rare for an Orion, the ship's medical officer adopted the child, which caused great strife with her Klingon husband, who fell in love with the little girl the moment he actually saw her, after she kicked him in the groin.
From there on, Roslyn, as she was renamed, grew into the flirtatious deviant that she is today. She's spent time on Earth in Ireland, on ship with her mother, on the Klingon homeworld with her father, and even a brief stint with her father on his ship. Growing up with human Irish and Klingon values has left a very particular impression on her and caused her to find her own way in life as she fought to find her own identity. Roslyn, by nature, is a prankster, participates in various athletic abilities, and rarely sleeps alone, being popular amongst the academy boys and girls.
Following in her mother's footsteps she had entered the academy in the medical field. She holds a degree in medicine and counseling, with specialization in sexual disorders and deviance, inspired from her own life's experiences being an Orion female addicted to sex.
Roslyn is at times, carefree, a klutz, even though she's very athletic, abhors violence, though likes to play fight with her Klingon cousins and family. She's naturally sensual without trying, too, and sometimes forgets her natural pheromones affect people in different ways, which usually ends up with her in some awkward situation.
Her father has pushed her into learning many Klingon cultural and historical facts, pretty much almost as if she were a real Klingon child. She's suffered many injuries trying to please him, some quite severe, but has always recovered.
She killed her first Targ when she was only ten years old; too bad it was her dads'. One of many awkward moments while growing up!
So between her father always touting the Klingon way and nurturing her spirit and her mother trying to make a young lady out of her and keep her from slipping out at night and doing whatnot with the local boys and girls, Roslyn has somehow still managed to find her own way in the world, though she still struggles with her own demons, her own addictions, but seeks with her career to help others with similar issues so they too can live somewhat normal lives and function in society.
