Mirrin Luniin is a Romulan/Betazoid hybrid, currently serving as a bartender onboard the USS Excalibur-A. She is the estranged daughter of the Tenth House of Betazed and currently runs The Round Table.

Mirrin is an abnormally outgoing person, despite her heritage and the often more closed off values of her Romulan side, she approaches life with the idea of enjoying the finer things. She's someone who loves to live the lavish lifestyle of a noble, often taking this mentality to work with her at The Round Table, often saying "If you need to get blackout drunk and forget the day ever happened? You might as well do it in style, darling. You should always be at your best, even at your worst moments". She's a talented hostess, with a good repertoire of knowledge on how to keep a crowd entertained. But, Mirrin is known to have many secrets about her, oftentimes being outgoing is a big distraction to that which lies under the surface.
Growing up, Mirrin was the child born out of an affair her mother had with a Betazoid noble. For much of her childhood, this would be kept secret and wouldn't be discovered until her gifts began manifesting in her adult life. Mirrin was a natural empath with an affinity for touch telepathy, in somewhat of a similar fashion to her Vulcan cousins. For a while, she was recruited into the Tal'Shiar, operating as an agent specializing in espionage missions. Given the nature of her gifts, she was the perfect candidate for operations based on information extraction as well as interrogation. It took Mirrin a long time to properly discipline her mind, utilizing meditation techniques to build her telepathic resistances and stopping herself from being overwhelmed or exhausted from entering another's mind. Since the Hobus Disaster, Mirrin has retired from the Tal'Shiar, often citing their agents as nothing but trouble, and keeps an arms-length relationship with Starfleet Intelligence. Preferring to spend her time as a socialite and working her dream job as a bartender. Away from the galaxy's troubles and issues.
