As of 238604.01, the Ministry of Defense was created. At this time the newly elected Planetary Council for Miri IV selected both a Minister and Deputy Minister to run this department.

Minister - Liam Kerchif, a Human.
Deputy Minister - Urgit Purrin, a Caitian.

As of this time they are the complete Defense force. They have lobbied for the funds to purchase a few small armed space craft as well as the needed equipment to train and outfit a small military force. So far no funds have been slotted for their use.
