A very nervous, mistake prone Ensign not long out of the Academy. On his first mission, a rewiring mistake knocked out the fire suppression system in the port nacelle of the USS Phoenix-C; a result which later led to the injury of acting Chief Engineer Lt. JG Salak.

Unwanted on the Phoenix, he was transferred to the Tiger. He was the first fatality on board, fried by a device in Deck 9, Section 12 which had knocked out the Warp Engines. The same device had knocked out Lt. Cmdr Thomas earlier in the mission.
