Personality
Since Michael's childhood he was always the shortest in his group of friends and he used that fact to motivate himself, carrying a chip on his shoulder for being so small. However, he is always the first one to jump into harm's way to save a team-mate.
History
Michael was born in Beaumont, Texas on the 5th of March, 2360, to Martin and Melissa Marks. He was never the best student of science, mathematics or history unless it pertained to combat. His father taught he and his siblings self-defence at an early age. At the age of 18, he left home and married his high school sweetheart. After three years of marriage, they called it quiets and his has a scar above his right eye due to an argument during their married life. At the age of 22, he entered Starfleet Academy on his third attempt.
