Voyage I

Captain Rendary - Kodiak (Galaxy Class)

1. Kodiak Galaxy Class Shakedown Cruise - Captain Rendary and Commander Vedoc take command of the USS Kodiak. While Captain Rendary remains on the bridge, Commander Vedoc runs the crew through a variety of simulations including a Holo Deck malfunction, and a faked Romulan attempt to steal the ship.
2. Mission: Classified - There are consistent rumors that the Kodiak discovered an inter-dimensional rift. Starfleet refuses to confirm or deny the rumors. All logs are sealed.

AB45: Destroying AB45 Labs - 2377.07.04

USS KODIAK has been tasked with a classified operation concerning SB45.

KODIAK was to retrieve operational computer memory for all research data stored at AB45 and render the systems non-operational.

Upon arrival, it was determined that there existed a level 7 biohazard and a level 9 HAZMAT contamination. An away team entered the subterranean base in type II environmental suits and after encountering corpses of base personnel animated by unknown biological agents the team was able to secure the data.

The team also met with a Romulan team, purpose unknown, which was disabled after a fire fight.

The team is now attempting to leave the surface amidst significant storm activity; there are also Orion agents present, as well as a Klingon team. Locally deployed spacecraft coincident with KODIAK's position supported these other pretences.

Having successfully retrieved the data, the Kodiak is presently in route to Vulcan in the hopes of curing a crewman exposed to one of the viruses on the surface.

Voyage IV

Captain Hollis - Kodiak-A (Dauntless Class)

Gamorae - Sons of Kalath â⿬⿿ Joint Sim USS Ranger 2378.01.18

Shortly after discovering the betrayal of Ambassador Sheridan to the Sons of Khaless, Kodiak is contacted by Rear Admiral Kelly of the USS Ranger. The Ranger in a recent confrontation with the Sons had discovered they were building a private fleet of warships based on the Defiant design. The Admiral orders a strike against their secret base. The attack is short and brutal resulting in the destruction of the Sonâ⿬⿢s of Khaless, the capture of Ambassador Sheridan, and severe damage to both Star Fleet vessels. The Dauntless Classes and Nebula Class vessels return to SB118 for Repair.

Orion Syndicate Purge - 04.10.01

Repairs complete, the Kodiak prepares to accompany a large group of settlers to the planet of Kismet on the Breen Boarder. As they prepare to leave, the Orion Syndicate attempts to assassinate Captain Hollis. Allowing the Syndicate to believe they succeeded, Hollis impersonates retired Captain Vedoc while dispatching a team to eliminate the Bellani wing of the Orion Syndicate. Meanwhile, the crew is interrogated by two Metapad Telepaths to assure loyalty to the Federation.

Kismet - 2378.06.01

Free of the Syndicate taint, Kodiak arrives at Kismet, and begins to prepare the settlement for the colonists. The away team is attacked the local predator, the tiger like Indrum. Several team members bit by the Indrum morph into the great cats. It seems the Breen had created at least some of the beasts from residence of the original colony. The process remains infectious in those created beasts. The affects are reversed with mixed results in the infected Kodiak crew.

Rescue USS Tiger - 2378.07.25

While Kodiak is at Kismet, the USS Tiger under the command of Cmd. Hebron, patrols the Breen Boarder. Discovering a cloaked Breen station on the Federation side, the Tiger investigates and rescues several Prisoners of War. In the process the Tiger is severally damaged, and Kodiak leaves Kismet to assist. Once both ships are at Kismet, Cmd. Hebron is promoted to Captain.

Breen Peace Mission - 2378.09.08

With Federation/Breen relations deteriorating, the Nomadic Bandi offer to broker a peace meeting. The parties meet above Kismet, while forces on all sides conspire to start a war. Section 31 inspires a group of Star Fleet Captains to attack the Breen home world. The Breen attempt to assassinate their own representative, General Gidax. The Bandi assist the Breen in their attempt to kill the General. After saving General Gidax, the Kodiak is able to broker a continued truce with the Breen

Voyage V

Fleet Captain Hollis - Kodiak-A (Dauntless Class)

Web Nebula/Dyson Sphere - 2379.02.01

Kodiak leaves Kismet for the near by Web Nebula. Twelve years ago the original Galaxy Class Kodiak had visited the Web Nebula, and Lithron VII system. During that initial mission, a moon sized Dyson Sphere had been detected. With the return of peace to the Quadrant, Star Fleet decides the time has come to follow up.

On entering the Web Nebula, the Kodiak encounters a Whale probe, similar to the one that had visited Earth. There is brief contact with the creatures that pilot the probe, and then it leaves the Nebula. Kodiak continues on sending the saucer section to the Star Drive section to the Web Nebula, while taking the saucer in search of the Sphere. Both teams encounter hostile telepathic entities. Whether the beings are fighting a civil war or different species is unclear. It is clear though that the Kodiak has to withdraw from the Nebula.

Hell's Gate â⿬⿿ Triumph â⿬⿿ 2379.07.01

Returning to SB118 from what is seen as a successful tour of the Breen boarder, the Kodiak enjoys a warm welcome. However the Dauntless class hull type has been rejected from full production in favor of the Sovereign class. Barely avoiding de commissioning, the vessel is assigned to provide neutral security at the Klingon martial arts competition called the Triumph on the planet Hells Gate. The games are interrupted by a coup against the local government, and the formation of a new house. Kodiak successfully evacuates the contestants.

Tâ⿬⿢lithian War â⿬⿿ 2379.09.01

Sim months previous the USS Constitution had encountered a inter dimensional race called the Tâ⿬⿢lithians. The Tâ⿬⿢lithians now launch an attack against the Antidean. A federation member, SB118 scrambles to put together a task force to meet the threat. Kodiak which had been nearly decommissioned is tapped to lead the counter offensive. On the way to the Antidean Colony Fol, the energy based shape shifting Tâ⿬⿢lithians attack Kodiak internally. They almost succeed in kidnapping Ad. Hollis and Lt Tâ⿬⿢pen. On arriving at Fol, Kodiak use marines and orbital attacks to retake the planet, while a recon team locates the Tâ⿬⿢lithians base within the adjacent sector.

The assault on T-5, the Tâ⿬⿢lithian base, involves a task force of 5 Star Fleet vessels, and 15 Antidean corvettes. Facing 2 Tâ⿬⿢lithian dreadnoughts and scores of attack craft, Star Fleet is victorious, but Kodiakâ⿬⿢s star drive section has to be abandoned, and the USS Glory destroyed with all hands.

Decomission Kodiak-A: 2379.12.15

At midway repair facility Kodiak-a is decommissioned, and the Norway class Kodiak 800101 is commissioned.

Voyage VI

With great fanfare, the Kodiak 800101 is commissioned at Midway Repair Facility.

Treasure Hunt - Joint Mission with USS Independence - 80.02.01

Assigned to the sectors around Bajor, the newly commissioned Kodiak is requested to search for 3 Cardasian Cargo vessels, lost 50 years ago in the Bad Lands. The haulers were loaded with treasures from Bajor, which that government would like, returned. Joined by the USS Independence, the two ships conduct a systematic search, till a plasma storm sweeps them into a planetary system. There they discover the ship, and the descendants of the crew and Bajoran Slaves. Ironically the Bajorans rule the Cardasians with a ruthless abandon. After making contact with the survivors they are all transported to Kodiak, and returned to Bajor

Mission: Specter of the Past - 80.03.15

While at Bajor, a report of a derlict ship on a deserted icy planetoid is received. Kodiak, ending leave, proceeds to investigate. Scans of the ship reveal a lifeless Specter Classes vessel, the USS Umbra. A large away team, beams down only to discover a ship full of corpses covered with a fine dust. Soon the dust is found to be mold spores, and two crew members are infected. The away team returns to the Kodiak which races back to DS9. The spores are telepathic and voracious. It is only when their telepathic connection to their host is interrupted that they die, freeing the affected crewmembers.
