Chronological History
Kivoka grew up in a happy family, albeit an unconventional family. She was raised in a Romulan outpost, far away from the Klingon homeworld. Her father made sure she was well educated, while her mother taught her the proud Klingon ways.
At 17 she met and fell in love with a Romulan girl, Nille. As soon as they became of age, they married. Her parents didn't approve but supported their daughter.
At 20 she applied for the academy and was accepted. She had hoped Nille would come with her but the other woman opted to stay on the outpost.
While at the academy, Kivoka made friends and worked hard. She took to security easily and focused her studies there. She was always exercising and surrounded herself with others that did so as well.
